About Jerrice:

Bonjour, Je m'appelle Jerrice, and I'm a French speaker from Haiti. I'm very patient, creative, and love to motivate my students and give them the time, and support they need to succeed.

Currently, I teach French to adults and young children. My specialty is teaching French through play to toddlers, preschoolers, adolescents. If you would like your young, bright child to learn French in a relaxed and fun way, then I'm the joyful teacher you need. I find that the best way to keep children's attention to learn a new language is by keeping them engaged in their normal routine, and joining them in what they find interesting. They learn through play, interaction, listening, and modeling, and they pick up the new language quickly without noticing. When a child is relaxed and having fun, he/she is more receptive to learning.

I also have effective techniques for adults. Whether you are speaking French as a beginner, or at an intermediate level, I will follow your own pace, and work diligently on reviewing, and reinforcing through conversation each new lesson learned before we move on. Mastering French is all about practice, practice, practice!

Teaching French is a great passion of mine, and it brings me tremendous joy to hear my students speak French confidently. A bientot!
